Had a decent Buffalo Chicken Salad here at Roly Poly. The spinach & greens were bright, fresh & crisp. The chicken is obviously a pre-cooked product, but it's real chunks of chicken breast, not that yucky pressed type chicken. The bacon on the salad also obviously a pre-cooked product, it was ok, nothing spectacular. The buffalo sauce that was on the chicken was good, tasted like Franks Red Hot or Texas Pete, not much heat to it, it comes with ranch dressing which was good also.

Roly Poly is a small chain started by 2 ladies who wanted to give healthier options in the "quick service" food area, they have about 125 franchised stores in 24 or 25 states I believe is what their web-site said.

They do salads & "rolled sandwiches" as they call it, which I would call a wrap since they are rolled in flour or whole wheat tortilla. I guess rolled sandwich sounds more exciting than wrap. They do have alot of options though that sound really good in their sandwiches and salads.

The service here was quick & friendly. The soda fountain and tea pots are around the corner from the register and down a short hall way, by the time I  went and got my cup of tea & returned to the front, my order was ready in a couple of minutes. They also have a drink cooler up front in the dining area that is stocked with various juices, bottled water, energy drinks and Snapple. There is also a rack loaded with different kinds of chips if you need chips. A good stop if you want a quick salad or wrap...I mean "rolled sandwich".

Just ordered lunch here for the first time and now I'm super sad. Delivery took over an hour and the food is straight caca. I got the California Turkey Sandwich which literally has a single slice of turkey on it. It's basically lettuce y'all. Straight lettuce. Did the "Roll your own" for my 5yo.. Hot pressed turkey, cheddar, bacon.. he won't eat it bc it's burnt black. The broccoli cheddar soup is the only half decent thing we got. I got a side of potato salad but have no idea what the actual f*ck this is.. it's watery and tangy with an ungodly amount of pepper. It's gross af. Also their hummus is probably the most disgusting thing I've ever put in my mouth. Which says a lot.

Roly Poly is best known for its hot pressed sandwiches in which the tortilla is grilled to melt the cheese and heat the ingredients inside.  I always get half a #52, the Hickory Chicken which is excellent and is pictured.  I have been here many times in the food has always been consistently good.

Use to be one of my favorites. Still quality ingredients but the last two times I was there they couldn't fix my sandwich the way I requested.

It's all about the wrap here, and for me at least, there just too much of it, and too little else. We tried a 8 ounce bowl of Mushroom Soup ($3.25), 1/2 Santa Fe Chicken ($3.95), 1/2 Roly Reuben ($3.95), a Monster Veggie ($6.50), a side of Pasta Salad & a side of Potato Salad (each $1.50), and a Meat & Cheese Mini Roll ($1.95).

The wraps smothered the taste of the small amount of filing in all the sandwiches except the Monster Veggie, which was loaded with crisp, fresh tasting vegetables, but was very lite on the "lite" dill dressing and there was very little cheese - properly dressed this could indeed be a "monster" veggie sandwich. The wrap on the Santa Fe Chicken and the Reuben were scorched, making it bitter tasting.

There is nothing other than the Veggie that we'd order again.
